Integrated cylinder systems and related equipment for industry-specific applications
Often, our customers require more than original or replacement cylinders for existing equipment; they turn to Clover for the convenience and cost-effectiveness of complete, integrated systems to perform a variety of specialized functions. We work with our customers to develop a complete system, including hydraulic power units, control panels, and any other system related component necessary to put a working package together.

Wireline tensioner systems
Х	CloverТs drilling riser tensioner system applies relatively constant tension to the drilling riser and to compensate for movement of the rig due to environmental forces contributing to heave, rolling and pitching.

Х	The system consists of multiple tension cylinders with high-pressure and low-pressure piston accumulators.

Х	Third-party certification of systems according to ABS or DNV requirements.

Х	Wire-pull capacity up to 250 Kips.

Other tensioner systems
Х	Drill string compensator systems Ц mounted between the traveling block and hook, a Clover drill string compensator will work to decrease the influence of the heave of a drilling vessel on the drill bit.

Х	Active heave compensator systems ЦAHC systems reduce the effects of vertical ship motion (heave) on the drill string and coring tools, reducing bit lift off and stabilizing weight on bit, reaction torque and rpm variations. Consisting of a passive heave compensation system in combination with an active heave compensation system CloverТs AHC system will maximize performance in relation to power consumption, increasing operating days per year.

Military and defense applications
Our service record is exemplary. Meeting the needs of military and defense contractors involves a great deal of feasibility study and R&D work performed by CloverТs own people. Many of the projects Clover has assisted with involve proprietary applications, such as a portable antenna mast deployment system, enclosed field command and control centers with motion control systems, and cylinders utilized in a proprietary missile launch system and mine detection equipment. Clover is also capable of providing hydraulic cylinders and systems for heavy-rig moving equipment, mast cylinders for submarines and more.
