Engineering
Clover Industries is all about adding value as a single
sourcing and broad-based manufacturer. Open communication
and teamwork are the keys to identifying opportunities and
solving challenges. Our team of highly qualified,
accessible, engineers and designers can work from fully
detailed prints supplied by the customer, or from scratch
with minimal specifications and conceptual guidance.
Meeting the demand for the toughest applications
Much more than a cylinder manufacturer, we’re a source of
emerging technology. Our customers face new challenges
constantly; new products must interface with emerging
platforms, satisfy stricter performance requirements and
deliver as designed in harsher environments.
Our highly capable Design/Engineering team employs today’s
most sophisticated techniques to develop new products for
demanding applications.
• All systems designed in 3D Solidworks
• Full Finite Element Analysis (FEA) capabilities
• Integrated CAD/CAM capabilities
• Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Serviceability
(DFS)
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) capabilities
• System modeling and analysis
Holding standards high
Clover Industries adds value by holding high standards for
the products we produce. Independent certification
organizations such as ABS, Lloyds, Det Norske Veritas (DNV),
and others review and certify engineering drawings,
engineering calculations and finished products.
Manufacturing
Manufacturing capacities
Some of our manufacturing capabilities include CNC and
multiple axis high-speed machining centers, automated
welding equipment, multiple medium and large CNC lathes,
heavy duty material handling capabilities and a paint booth
equipped to handle an unlimited variety of exterior
finishes. We like to stay on top of the newest technology
and invest in equipment that allows us to serve our
customers with constantly increasing efficiency and degrees
of quality. At the heart of it all is a highly skilled and
knowledgeable workforce with years of experience in design,
manufacturing, assembly and testing of custom made hydraulic
cylinders and integrated cylinder systems.

Advanced testing/quality management
Clover is uncompromising in the pursuit of meeting the
customer’s expectations. From the design of the product all
the way through to delivery of the cylinder or product.
Quality Management System – Clover has an ISO based Quality System with a robust
non-conforming product and corrective action system. Clover
is in the process of obtaining ISO 9001 registration and API
licensing.
Design Flexibility – Clover has experience and flexibility to work with many
design codes such as AWS, ASME, DNV, API, ABS, etc. Our design
process allows for use of any design code requested by our
customers.
Certified Welders and welding process – Clover welders are highly skilled and experienced, and we
believe in ongoing education and training to keep current
with the latest innovations and technology.
Certification organizations - Clover has experience working with several of the
certifying organizations used in the oil and gas industry, including ABS
and DNV.
Product Testing –
Clover tests 100% of the products produced at a minimum of
1.5 times the design pressure. Custom test procedures can be developed to meet any
of our customers’ needs.
Material Traceability Program – Clover Industries has a rigorous material
traceability program through which mill certificates for raw
materials can be traced through to Clovers products and
finished parts.
